9 weeks

Its been a month since my last post. Symptoms are minimum (TYJ) but I'm always hungry- Geesh! Its obvious why pregnant women gain so much weight. Food is the cure for everything with me. I wake up feeling sluggish, I eat, then I'm good. If I can't sleep at night, I go to the fridge and grab a snack then I'm good. I do my daily walk (2.5 miles a day) I get back home and I'm starving, I eat then I'm good. Its safe to say that "Food Rules Everything Around Me".

Just last night I noticed some lower back pain and "GOOGLE SAYS" that this can come from many things such as my sleeping position, my growing belly, running, walking, bending...basically anything can bring upon some discomfort at this point. Google never gives a straight up answer so then you're left on this internet hunt to diagnose yourself of reasons why. All in All being pregnant will bring upon such changes so I just handle it like a big girl and besides its not that bad so far so I'm cool.

Most people don't speak on pregnancy early as I have but for me, I have to too which is why my blog is perfect! Not many review my blog that I'm aware of until I share it on a social network site then they view it because its as easy as a click to get to this page. Those that are close to me are aware of my journey and I keep them posted daily.

My next appointment is April 4th, I pray as with all things that the appointment goes swell. I told my mom the other day I don't feel anything but, now I do. Its like you speak on it then, it happens. I went to sit down in my work chair and I flopped down as I usually would and was hit with a sharp pain that made me re-think the way I take a seat. Its small things that remind me that I am pregnant such as sitting down or being totally uncomfortbale when I'm trying to sleep.

I keep up with myself through the Baby bump app that's pretty cool and it keeps me informed on what I should be eating, doing, feeling and looking forward to.

Yesterday made a week in which I returned home from Las Vegas.

*Another Bathroom break"

I had a great time in Vegas with my mom and her friends, I did a lot of walking but I think that was a good thing. And furthermore this trip was planned way in advance so I did not want to be the pregnant lady that stays in the room and or the lady who can't do much.

Food confessions:
I had a few cups of coffee with my mom and her best friend. Other days I went for Hot chocolate. I knew I couldn't have much caffeine so I kept things at a minimum. Cinnabuns called my name a few times that week since the location was in the actual hotel we were staying at and I was stuffed each morning from an awesome breakfast. All in all I burned many calories with my walking so its safe to save I broke even lol.

Soooo, that's it for now. I'll update you after my next appointment. Our baby is Baby Grape this week being that I'm 9 weeks and at my next visit I'll be 10 weeks so stay posted!

Toodles,

LALA

Donations Anyone?

When is the last time you donated? What a perfect time of the year to think about others!!! Like many of you I’m always in the stores trying to find a good deal…sometimes its needed, others times we just buy it because it was on sale. Meantime our closet seems like its shrinking because were drowning it with things we really don’t wear or need! Let’s have a change of heart going into the New Year….Lets’ change a Life! Now many of you all may be like “No one wants this junk”....WRONG! If it isn't  damaged in any way you can donate it to someone or may be an organization that will SUCCESSFULLY give it to those in need. The chart below lists some very good information that we all should know BEFORE donating to these organizations…….Choose wisely! THINK BEFORE YOU DONATE SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT BEFORE YOU MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS: As you open your pockets to do a good thing and make yourself feel good, please keep the following facts in mind:   ------

Black History Month for ALL to Enjoy

So as we head towards the end of Black History Month, I decided to provide some insight on those we may not have learned about in school. LESSON! I randomly selected the Super Stars below to help me Show Off this week. Some of us put so many barriers up in Life that prevents us from accomplishing our goals. I'm Sleepy, I just got off work, and I'm tired are just few of the familiar phrases we often hear and say. I'm almost positive that those before us would laugh at the excuses we make so we can just chill. The Good news is that it's never too late for a Fresh New start. I hope the people below will inspire you to see that anything is possible with consistency, dedication and motivation. *Copy and Paste the Links below to your browser for more info  Ballerina    Michaela DePrince From:  A Remote orphanage in Sierra Leone “Who would want to adopt a girl who looks like you?” The orphanage staff would tell her. http://blackgirllonghair.com/2015/08/michaela
