Better Days:Embracing Life

Embracing Life
Being prepared
Knowledge and experience is power and immediately eliminates worry and the unknowns. It is true – we will never be able to control or know everything, but we can equip ourselves to the best of our ability by seeking out the necessary resources.

Love yourself
It’s impossible to be motivated and accept positive change, if you do not love yourself. Don’t allow you’re past to beat you up; we all have failed; it’s a part of life.Don’t go through life mad about things that are out of your control or for many of us situations that we created ourselves.

Worrying
Worrying, is a combination of knowing something is outside of our control and not having the experience or knowledge to be certain of what will occur. Sounds familiar? …….Worry about not making the most out of your time while you are still able to.You will never be younger than you are today, so take advantage-Don't worry and be happy.

Don’t let others bring you down
Most negative people behave negatively not just to you, but to everyone they interact with so never take it personal. Remember, what others say and do, and the opinions they have, are based entirely on their own self-reflectionNegative people have an endless supply of pity party invitations.  Don’t RSVP!

You can decide right now that negative experiences from your past will not predict your future.

Let’s make this Pact together:
·         Love deeply despite the possibility of loss
·    Exult in possibilities despite the possibility of disappointment
·    Try with all your heart despite the possibility of failure
·    Enjoy today even though there is no guarantee of tomorrow
·    Endure despite the voice that says you can’t
·    Cry your heart out and know that it will be full again
·    Work hard even while those around you say it’s futile
·    Keep hope because you are strong, resilient, and flexible.

Be Blessed Boo’s

Black History Month for ALL to Enjoy

So as we head towards the end of Black History Month, I decided to provide some insight on those we may not have learned about in school. LESSON! I randomly selected the Super Stars below to help me Show Off this week. Some of us put so many barriers up in Life that prevents us from accomplishing our goals. I'm Sleepy, I just got off work, and I'm tired are just few of the familiar phrases we often hear and say. I'm almost positive that those before us would laugh at the excuses we make so we can just chill. The Good news is that it's never too late for a Fresh New start. I hope the people below will inspire you to see that anything is possible with consistency, dedication and motivation. *Copy and Paste the Links below to your browser for more info  Ballerina    Michaela DePrince From:  A Remote orphanage in Sierra Leone “Who would want to adopt a girl who looks like you?” The orphanage staff would tell her. http://blackgirllonghair.com/2015/08/micha...
