Wanna Have Fun?

6 Ways to have Fun with Your Spouse
“You don’t’ stop having fun when you get old, you get old when you stop having fun”

Wrestle
Sounds silly but I do it quite often in my place! It’s all about the kid in you, don’t be uptight, get loose. You can pillow fight, food fight….whatever your choice is…YOU start it!
Act out a movie scene
If its popular chances are we’ve done this. It’s hilarious; Scarface, Gladiator, Life, Adam Sandler movies, Coming to America…….pick your favorites. We all remember the lines in our favorite movies!
Hit the courts
Now this may not be as much fun if your husband is 6’5 like mine but give it a try. You stay active and most importantly its time well spent ……No cheating!
Spend time with other couples
I believe being social is important although some may beg the differ ….
“If you find another couple that you can both click with, then you can go out and you can do these fun things together. What you are doing is supporting and encouraging your relationship”….I can dig it!
Do Chores together
This is important….One person should NOT carry the load. Housework and chores can be fun if you tackle it as a couple/team. Not to mention the work will get done faster.  “If you work together and then play together, then there’s no resentment.”
Having fun does not have to be expensive
Money or not, you can have fun at almost no cost. Of course you got your typical movies nights or maybe you normally ride the town together. Try learning a new card game together, start a journal together….you get my point, be creative.  (Consider the savings)

In all, don’t be a sour puss. Having a spouse is exciting and you should find ways to JUST DO IT. Have Fun.

Did Y'all know?

Keeping it in the Family Did y'all know that Raheem  (Khalil  Kain) from Juice was Maino's "Hi Hater" brother? Welp, I didn't and found it to be another case of "Keeping it in the family'.  (Don't get me wrong, Maino isn't a star or anything but he aight.) But anyway, once someone in the family makes it...chances are you will too (if you play your cards tight) simply because you'll be in "The Know" crowd.  Brothers-9 Years Apart                                                                  PS. I posted this because Khalil Kain was my baby daddy back in the day. (You aint know) lol

Black History Month for ALL to Enjoy

So as we head towards the end of Black History Month, I decided to provide some insight on those we may not have learned about in school. LESSON! I randomly selected the Super Stars below to help me Show Off this week. Some of us put so many barriers up in Life that prevents us from accomplishing our goals. I'm Sleepy, I just got off work, and I'm tired are just few of the familiar phrases we often hear and say. I'm almost positive that those before us would laugh at the excuses we make so we can just chill. The Good news is that it's never too late for a Fresh New start. I hope the people below will inspire you to see that anything is possible with consistency, dedication and motivation. *Copy and Paste the Links below to your browser for more info  Ballerina    Michaela DePrince From:  A Remote orphanage in Sierra Leone “Who would want to adopt a girl who looks like you?” The orphanage staff would tell her. http://blackgirllonghair.com/2015/08/micha...
