Don't waste Time

If you love life, don't waste time, for time is what life is made up of.
Bruce Lee

There are many things that we can get back in life if we miss out but TIME is not one of them. Sure, you can sleep late the next day, have a cram study session or just delay your task but either way you can't get back lost time. There are many ways to get things done within a 24 hour period but most times we missed out because we are focus on things that may not help us to get ahead. Lost time is a bummer! Lets think of how we can manage our time so that not only can we do what we want to throughout the day but we can also put a focus towards whats important. Goals!

Don't overwhelm yourself
When you have something you want to accomplish set a goal that is realistic. Many of us delay and avoid doing whats important because we believe we have to think BIG all the time (that can be A LOT on the mind). This mind set is great when thinking of a long term goal but to ensure you get things accomplished, break down your BIG goals into small task.
Example: You have a great idea on how to make money but the first step is to start and website and you have no clue how to do it. Your mind is on OVERLOAD.
The first thing to do is take a deep breath and realize this does not have to be done in a day. Depending on your current schedule find 30 minutes a day to set aside and take things 1 step at a time. What does that really mean? ....Day 1: Research the material you want presented on the site along with a domain name. Day 2: Choose a web site builder such as Word Press or GoDaddy.com (my suggestions) and then sign up for an account. Once this is done locate a template that you find fitting for your material. Day 3: Start filling in the blanks, templates are the easiest way to present information on your website. Some sites even offer free technical support so be sure to take advantage.

This is just 1 of many examples of how you can break down task throughout your life in order to ensure you are not wasting time on things that will not help you professionally or personally. Don't get me wrong we all can enjoy some leisure time in life however don't let too much leisure time take you off your focus of accomplishing BIGGER and BETTER things.

Let's Start today!

White Man goes HAM on his Last Meal Request

Last Meal If the state of Mississippi hadn't killed Gary Simmons Jr., his last meal might have. Simmons, a convicted murderer on death row since 1997,   requested a collection   of heart-stoppers, including two Pizza Hut pizzas (one a double portion), almost 6 pounds of cheese, 80 ounces of ranch dressing, a family-sized bag of Doritos, two strawberry milkshakes, 40 ounces of Cherry Coke, a supersized McDonald's fries and two pints of strawberry ice cream. His state-sanctioned feast   was estimated   to be 29,000 calories — what an average man eats in a two-week period. No word on whether Simmons finished his meal; Mississippi finished him Wednesday. His   last words : "Let's get it on so these people can go home." http://now.msn.com/now/0622-inmate-last-meal

Black History Month for ALL to Enjoy

So as we head towards the end of Black History Month, I decided to provide some insight on those we may not have learned about in school. LESSON! I randomly selected the Super Stars below to help me Show Off this week. Some of us put so many barriers up in Life that prevents us from accomplishing our goals. I'm Sleepy, I just got off work, and I'm tired are just few of the familiar phrases we often hear and say. I'm almost positive that those before us would laugh at the excuses we make so we can just chill. The Good news is that it's never too late for a Fresh New start. I hope the people below will inspire you to see that anything is possible with consistency, dedication and motivation. *Copy and Paste the Links below to your browser for more info  Ballerina    Michaela DePrince From:  A Remote orphanage in Sierra Leone “Who would want to adopt a girl who looks like you?” The orphanage staff would tell her. http://blackgirllonghair.com/2015/08/micha...
